Victor Currie is leading the expansion of the award-winning Unvert Group at Douglas Elliman into the Los Angeles market. Bringing more than 30 years of experience leading media, advertising, and marketing companies to real estate, Victor looks at each transaction as a project that has its own unique challenges and strategic opportunities.
A lifelong resident of Los Angeles and Orange Counties, Victor Currie is intimately familiar with communities across the region. Rather than focus on a single geographic area, Victor helps sellers, buyers, and investors throughout the Southland.
Victor brings to real estate decades of marketing and media experience as a producer, director, and creative director of television programs, commercials, and Internet media. He has hosted and anchored national and international satellite business television and radio broadcasts and has been an owner and partner in multiple companies providing marketing and media production services to major regional and national companies.
When he transitioned from real estate investor to Realtor®, he found that the skills from his previous businesses translated perfectly: Negotiating complex high-pressure large-money deals, designing award-winning creative marketing campaigns, and getting all the players involved to work together to reach the common goal of a successful transaction (plus having been a Universal Studios Tour Guide in his younger days, he gives a great home tour).
Always active in his local communities, he served as president and a long-time board member of the Rotary Club of Newport-Balboa in Newport Beach and has been an active member of the Rotary Clubs in Beverly Hills and Pasadena, in addition to being involved in fundraising efforts for various organizations including The Blind Children’s Center and the Maple Counseling Center. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors.
He is a graduate of the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.
